About Pinoso

Pinoso (El Pinós) is one of Spain's most prosperous towns, thanks to its marble quarries, thriving shoe industry, salt deposits, and burgeoning wine and agricultural sectors. The town is located in the hilly countryside of the Alicante wine region, a 45-50 minute drive from the airport, Alicante city center, and beaches, and close to the border with Murcia.

Pinoso offers all the necessary amenities: supermarkets such as Consum, Dia, Mas y Mas, and Hiperber; a wide selection of restaurants (including Irish and Indian) and bars (over 50); a 24-hour medical center; English-speaking dentists; a veterinarian; a weekly market on Saturdays; and a covered market open six days a week.
