Galera is a highly sought after white-washed village, beautifully positioned in the foothills of the ‘Badlands’ of the Altiplano Geopark, a hidden gem in Granada Province and fascinating for its dramatic landscapes, prehistoric archeology and Moorish history. There are bars, restaurants and shops in the village, a doctor’s surgery, a primary school and weekly market. There is also a public outdoor pool which is open in summer.
