Large detached country house for sale in the Almanzora area set in a large plot with flat usable land, two garages, large outbuilding and stunning views over the surrounding mountain ranges.

This fantastic property is situated only a 4 minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk (1.8kms) from the village of Almanzora where you will find 3 bar-restaurants, pharmacy, two convenience stores, bakery, municipal pool and more. The large market town of Albox is just a 5 minute drive away (2.7kms) where you will find all necessary amenities for a day to day life. The coastal resorts of Vera Playa and Mojacar Playa are a 35-45 minute drive and Almeria airport is just an hour’s drive.

The property is set in a plot of approx. 3,456m2 which is split on three levels. On the top level you have the property, garages and outbuildings.
On the second level is a large flat area with a water deposit which is used for irrigation but could be converted to create a pool if necessary. The third level is planted with olive and fruit trees. The property has mains water, the water deposit is simply used for irrigation.

To the front of the property is a large driveway offering ample space to park several cars. This then leads to a tiled patio with access to one of the garages. The second garage is on the other side of the property and this is a bit larger. The second garage could be used to create a small annex or incorporated into the main property. There is also an enclosed garden to the front of the house and access down to the second level of land where you will find the water deposit.

The front door opens into an entrance hall with a double bedroom on either side. The hall then leads to a large room currently used as a dining room. On the left doors open into a basic kitchen with a door leading into a hall which gives way to a shower room. The third bedroom is accessed from the dining room and there is a door opening to another large room to the back of the house used as a living-dining room with a large fireplace and access to the back garden.

At the back of the house is a flat garden area and a large outbuilding which is split in two parts (one side is an outdoor kitchen with toilet and the other was used for pigs before) but this could be converted to create a large self contained apartment. There is separate access to the back of the property making it ideal for it.

From the living room a door opens into a small room which was used as a pantry and from here a staircase leads upstairs. On the first floor there are two large rooms and access to a lovely terrace offering fantastic views. These rooms could be used to create further living space. The roof is in good condition, some of the beams have been changed already. You may wish to have a new raised roof but it wouldn’t be necessary.

The property could be lived in as it is but it does need a fair amount of work such as new kitchen, new floors in places, finishing the upstairs, new bathroom etc.
