This is a charming, rustic house in the hamlet of Duda, situated on a wooded hillside above the small river, Rio Guardal, on the Altiplano of Granada. This enhanting property is surrounded by nature. The parking area at the entrance to the property (two cars can access it if parked carefully). To the right is the entrance to the main house and to the left is a small outbuilding that serves as a summer kitchen. Straight ahead is the large, sunny patio with views over the treetops.

This is an authentic rural Andalusian village house, with white walls and terracotta tiles. The house comprises a living room, open-plan kitchen, a full bathroom, two double bedrooms on the ground floor, and two attic bedrooms. At the far end of the patio, attached to the house, is a two-story storage building.

Interior of the House

From the patio, you enter the open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar and the living-dining room with a fireplace, exposed beams, and rustic tiled floors.
To the right of the living room is a comfortable double bedroom. To the left from the kitchen is a hallway that leads to the bathroom with a shower and a second double bedroom, decorated with traditional furnishings and tools. This bedroom has a door that opens onto the patio. The hallway also leads to the staircase up to the attic bedrooms.

Upstairs are two connecting attic spaces that can be used as bedrooms, games rooms, a library, etc.

Outside, at the far end of the patio is a small 2-storey building that offers generous storage space. Its entrance is next to the bedroom door.
Opposite the entrance to the house is the summer kitchen, with a restored traditional clay oven. This corner offers an intimate, relaxing spot, ideal for al fresco dining, summer naps, or sunset gatherings. (Note: the pergola was removed but it can be replaced.)

Duda is a special place, a charming hamlet hidden away off the main roads, in the northeastern part of the province of Granada. This location combines tradition, natural beauty, and historical heritage.

Surrounded by mountains, pine forests, and a crystal-clear stream, it is an ideal destination for those seeking a getaway in nature. The Asador La Parra restaurant is 2 km from Duda. The main access to Duda is via the road that connects the beautiful village of Castril to the market town of Huéscar (approximately 25-30 minutes), where you will find bars, restaurants, a weekly market, schools, theaters, a 24-hour health center, and a beautiful communal swimming pool fed with spring water.

A few kilometers away is the San Clemente reservoir with its turquoise waters and the majestic Sierra de la Sagra mountain range as a backdrop. This environment and terrain are ideal for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, or nature photography.
