The house is in fair condition and is great base for someone who wants to leave there stamp on a property here on the Costa Blanca.  There is a large terrace area for taking in them amazing views, large, open-planned living/dining room and kitchen. The plot is set on different levels and gives a quirky feel too the land. There are around 60 Olive trees on the lower level and a large garden area a little further up, perfect for a pool. The house is very private but is only around 15-minute walk in the Sax centre.
Sax is a very friendly "Castle" town with all the amenities you need. It has large Supermarkets: a new Consum with private parking, Spar, Hiperber as well as an indoor market and a weekly outdoor market on Mondays which is a popular social event for the town.
There is also a wide range of restaurants (20+) and lots of bars, a modern medical centre, 2 primary schools, a high school, a private school, an excellent English speaking veterinary, all sorts of shops including a popular local wine maker (bodega) San Blas. Sax has a very good hotel, Fuente el Cura and a train station to Alicante, Valencia and Madrid.
The castle which dominates the town dates back a thousand years and is lit up every evening to provide gorgeous views day and night.
Fiestas play a big part of local life, there are several throughout the year, the main one being the Moros y cristianos, which is a week long party with lots of dressing up, fireworks, music and community spirit and socialising.
The city Elda & Petrer is a short 10 minute drive, it has a large Hospital with English speaking doctors, a huge range of bars and restaurants, indoor shopping center, big international gym, Carrefour, Aldi, Lidl, Cinema with English movies shown weekly, bowling and fast food outlets.
Alicante airport, city and beaches is only 35 minutes drive away
