Beautiful 18th century house a quiet location near the edge of the village of Alcuéscar, 12 minutes from Montánchez and 40 minutes south west of Trujillo. The house has been completely restored in the original style and has 220 sq m of living space spread over 3 floors.

The lower floor has an entrance hall, 1 former wine bodega and 2 former stables, restored and made usable for storage, workshop and workspace. All rooms have traditional boveda ceilings. There is also a partly covered patio.

The upper floor has a landing, a bedroom with balcony on the southwest, large bathroom with shower and sink, kitchen diner with adjoining terrace overlooking the castle and Sierra de Montánchez, utility room with washing machine connection. The ceilings on this floor are made of wood.

The upper floor can be heated in the winter months with a wood stove, located in the kitchen. The living room has an electric heater. The thick traditional walls of the house isolate very well against cold and heat.

The floors are reached via a central traditional granite staircase. Internet connection is available and there is an excellent coverage of mobile networks. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood, with many historic buildings. There is parking space on a square 50 meters from the house, which can be reached via a characteristic alley. Alcuéscar is a friendly village of 2900 inhabitants. There is a preschool,  primary school,  secondary school, health centre, pharmacist, dentist, public swimming pool, well stocked supermarket (DIA), several shops for household items and such, a variety of restaurants and café's.

A 7,500 sq m olive grove and garden (about nearly 2 acres) is available separately.
