A few minutes drive, and you will reach the blue flag golden beaches of Guardamar del Segura, La Mata and Torrevieja.Ciudad Quesada lies close to a salt lake nature reserve which contains an abundance of wildlife, including a colony of wild flamingos. The reserve can be explored and enjoyed via a network of interesting nature trails. The area offers year round pleasant temperatures. The “World Health Organisation" believes that due to the local micro-climate in this area, it is the second healthiest place to live in this world.
