This large Estate is a charming country house situated in a protected agricultural area of Alicante. The area is characterised by olive and almond groves. Villages such as Benilloba and Cocentaina are just 4 km away.

At the foot of the Mariola and Font Roja national parks lies the town of Alcoy, just 10 km from Lumi Gaja Estate.

The Estate is perfectly situated inland on the Costa Blanca between Alicante, with airport (approx. 45 minutes) and the famous city of Valencia also with airport (approx. 60 minutes).

Due to its unique location just inland you will experience a sea of ​​​​peace and space, while a day trip to the coast with well-known seaside resorts such as Altea, Calpe, Moraira, Javea, Denia, Gandia, Benidorm, Alicante etc. are all only about 1 hour's drive from Lumi Gaja Estate.

The Aitana Safari Park is only 23 km away.

The main residence of the country house is over 100 years old and has recently been lovingly renovated, preserving many authentic Spanish details. Uniquely, this country house features a veranda and a very large garden with a private pool and a nature reserve with its own river.

Through the original double front doors of the main house, you enter the spacious hall with adjoining kitchen and living room. The living room features a cozy wood-burning stove for the winter months, and a flat-screen TV with a PlayStation 3 provides entertainment. Also on the ground floor are one bedroom and a bathroom with a shower.

From the entrance, the stairs lead to the first floor with five spacious bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and a separate bathroom with a double sink, shower, and bathtub. Three bedrooms have access to the spacious landing.

The house's original thick walls provide natural cooling in the summer. Naturally, the bedrooms are equipped with fans to provide a refreshing breeze when needed. However, inland, nights cool down to pleasant temperatures, making air conditioning unnecessary.

The veranda and garden offer several seating areas and cozy spots for both sun and shade. The spacious covered veranda, with a view of the "medieval castle of Cocentaina," features a large dining table with cozy lighting in the evening. The private pool provides a refreshing dip and is also attractively lit in the evening.

Cocentaina:
The village of Cocentaina boasts many charming, typically Spanish restaurants, eateries, terraces, and bars. You can also enjoy high-end lunches and dinners at restaurants with international/Mediterranean cuisine, including a Michelin-starred restaurant.
The village has several shops (bakery, grocery stores, butcher, pharmacy, etc.), small supermarkets, and a weekly market on Tuesdays. There's also a large Carrefour supermarket in the village. Everything is within a 5-minute drive of Lumi Gaja Estate.

The village also regularly hosts fun festivities.
And Spain's largest Moro's and Christiano's Festival takes place in the beautiful, authentic town of Alcoy.

Furthermore, there are beautiful lakes, rivers and waterfalls to admire in the vicinity.
