It's one of the most colorful and dramatic in the region, with parades, costumes, music, and mock battles reenacting the historical conflicts between Moors and Christians in Spain.???? 4. Wine and AgricultureThe area around Villena is known for producing excellent wines, especially red wines and fondillón, a traditional Alicante dessert wine. The town is also surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and almond trees.???? 5.
