Jahrhundert eine große Siedlung errichteten. Die Mosaikfliesen an den Kuppeln und Dachgauben reflektieren das strahlende Sonnenlicht des Mittelmeers in spektakulären Blau- und Goldtönen. Das Dorf verfügt über eine kleine Tapas-Bar, ein renommiertes Restaurant sowie Tennis- und Bouleplätze und wunderschöne Wanderwege.

Die Stadt Turre liegt nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt im Tal des Rio Aguas. Das heutige Turre, dessen Geschichte bis in die Maurenzeit zurückreicht, ist ein lebhaftes kleines Marktstädtchen. In den verwinkelten Gassen der Altstadt reihen sich Tapas-Bars aneinander, und auf dem Hauptplatz spendet ein natürlicher Brunnen das ganze Jahr über Trinkwasser für die Besucher. Die Hauptstraßen bieten eine Vielzahl von Geschäften, Bars und Restaurants für jeden Geschmack und jedes Alter. Freitags findet Markt statt, auf dem neben anderen Waren auch regionale Produkte in Hülle und Fülle angeboten werden. In und um die Stadt gibt es viele kleine Pensionen und Hostels.
