Probably the best-designed villa I have seen in the Alicante region, and priced affordably at just under 400,000€. I think it has everything you could ever want and an extra swimming pool. Built on an urban plot with 6,600m2 of olive groves and stunning views yet only a 3-4 minute drive into the lovely traditional Spanish town of Monovar which is 35 minutes from Alicante city, airport and the beach. As you drive up the tarmac roads towards the property, you cannot help but be impressed by its stature. Remotely controlled gates take you up a driveway where you can park many cars, but there is a separate garage area for three cars. The grounds are amazing, again, the design is incredible. The main house is a beautiful two-floor property with 5 Double Bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes and 2 family-sized bathrooms. Then there is a Garage/Storage Room, and next to it is the fabulous “summer kitchen” which is so much more than that and would make a very special Guest House. Then there is a stairway up to the large terrace built over the Summer Kitchen against a backdrop of a pine forest. Next to the stairway is another Garage/Storage room which has been turned into another Summer Kitchen with a feature BBQ area. This room can also be changed and would make a big double bedroom for the other Summer Kitchen, completing the Guest House if required. In front of all this incredible build is a uniquely shaped large swimming pool complete with loads of terracing for sunbathing and relaxing. If you take the next stairway up towards the pine forest, not only do you have more breath-taking views but also it leads you to another large swimming pool which is, well, to be honest, I dont know how to describe this part adequately, I suppose it´s a very private and beautiful area or a private pool for guests. Back to the main house, and the entrance leads you into a perfect lounge/diner, and, again, you can´t help but be impressed by the design and the distribution. To the right is a superbly fitted traditional kitchen, but much more spacious than the typical Spanish kitchen and has plenty of space for a dining table and chairs. Straight ahead takes you into possibly my favourite area, a natural cave where the most peaceful area has been created and being a cave, it stays cool in summer and warm in winter. Talking of warmth in winter, I mustn´t forget the property has full central heating with radiators in every room. Walking back through the lounge/diner, there is a small hallway that has, on one side, a Double Bedroom and on the other a full family Bathroom. This Bedroom suite would be perfect for anyone who may struggle with stairs or for a separate suite for guests. Back again to the lounge diner and take a look at the magnificent feature staircase in wrought iron, and as you walk up and turn to the left, it reveals what we would have called a “landing” but is so big it can be another lounge. There are four very spacious Double Bedrooms on this level, all with views and a Family Bathroom and then there is the gorgeous balcony that gives you views across the land and to the left across the town of Monovar and the castle. The property has mains water and electricity, and a fast internet service is available. Hopefully, the photos and the video will help you more than my inadequate description, but it really is hard to put into words.
