Cave House Toos in Huéscar

If you are looking for peace and quiet and beautiful, unspoilt views, yet want to be within walking distance of shops and restaurants and the other facilities of a small town, then this could be the property for you. Tucked away on the edge of Huéscar is this cosy two bedroomed part house, part cave with a large, sunny patio and lots of privacy. Huéscar has schools, a 24-hour medical centre, garages, banks, a good selection of clothes and food shops and a wonderful weekly open-air market. It is also in a peaceful setting, surrounded by hills and lovely scenery, and near to La Sagra, a prominent peak in this part of North Granada Province, and San Clemente reservoir. There are many unspoilt areas to visit if you like Nature and hiking, and it is on the edge of the badland region of the Altiplano, an area of great historic and geological interest.

The property has its own parking space at the top, and from there you go through a gate and down some steps to an upper level, which is a covered area, a perfect private spot for relaxing and enjoying the amazing view. (This would also make some wonderful separate guest accommodation with a little building work). Going further down you reach the huge patio area which gets lots of sun and is ideal for entertaining or for children to play. The views from here are fantastic and a great feature of this property.

Opposite the entrance to the house there is a store shed on the right in which you can keep all your garden equipment and tools. The porch area has pretty Spanish tiles and a hanging space for coats. You then enter under an archway into the open-plan kitchen/dining room/living area which has a wood burning stove and plenty of windows which let in lots of light. The kitchen has all the usual appliances including oven, washing machine and dish washer and plenty of cupboard space. The owners have said that the contents are all included in the sale, (barring just a few personal possessions). There is a large dining table and plenty of seating in a lovely open living area. The floor is tiled with smart terracotta tiles, and there is some feature stone-work surrounding the wood stove.
Straight off the living area are the bedrooms which are down a few steps and are in the cave part of the house, making them cosy and warm in winter and cooler in the summer. Both are double rooms with built-in storage cupboards.

The bathroom is on the same level as the living area, having a bathtub with shower over and toilet and wash basin.
This house is in great condition and is all ready to live in. It would make a wonderful home or peaceful holiday retreat.
