We are pleased to present this delightful country house has been renovated to a very high standard, and is set in a small hamlet 10 kms from the town of Yecla.

The house consists of two parts, the main house with large garden and swimming pool, and the garage and workshop (second house) with an ample plot of land around it.

Firstly, the house, you enter via double gates into the front of the house, a nice vine covered patio greets you with morning sun to enjoy. A large terraced area takes you to the 9m x 5m swimming pool, which was refurbished in 2023, the whole area is all fenced (for safety) and a small 8m2 storage room, where you can keep all your garden chairs etc and also houses the washing machine, so water and electric in here.

From the pool there is a long ranging view across the valley and hills beyond, the garden here also goes down in 3 terraces planted with various trees.

There is a pathway all around the house for easy access and the new roof also has guttering all around.

The main entrance to the house is covered by a shady patio area, you enter into a hallway, with a door that leads to the cloakroom and on to the large bathroom, with WC sink and a bath with a shower over, and an electric heater, plus in a large cupboard is the electric hot water tank.

Back into the hallway, leads into the living room with a large open fireplace and a wood burner for heating, a door leads to the first double bedroom, at the other side of the living room are two more doors to the second double bedroom and the third single bedroom.

Also from the living room is a door into the large kitchen / dining room, with fully fitted kitchen units and plenty of space for a dining table and all appliances and big american style fridge freezer will be included. A door from the kitchen also leads out to the terrace and pool area.

Opposite to the house is the garage and workshop, this building is very big and could be transformed into a second guest house. The garage has a large vehicle access door to one side, having a high ceiling and inside is 6m x 9m, which is a very large garage. There is an internal door that leads to the second room, where there is a WC and a large open fireplace, a pedestrian door here also leads to the outside.

Parking is plentiful, with space outside for many cars, there is a well, plus there is a parcel of land with a gate up into the hills and national park behind, so hill walking or climbing is perfect from here.

There is also a small pathway here to the house.

Water is on mains supply from a reservoir and there is a big deposit tank under the driveway for storage, electricity is from Iberdrola and is shared just by the ten houses here, so no problem with a bigger supply if needed.

This house offers so many possibilities, in a quiet location, without being isolated and just 10 minutes’ drive to the town. with the option of a large garage, storage and workshop or a second guest house, all fully legal and registered on the deeds.

Yecla is a beautiful large town with a population of around 35,000 people and has every amenity you would ever need including supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, hospital, etc.

It is a town with a singular spirit, due mainly to its enclave situation, and is the living image of ‘Castilian’ Murcia, the area of transition between the coastal zone and the plains of La Mancha. Preceded by the fame of its inhabitants, it is naturally a town of enormous character which has impressed such writers as Azorín or Pío Baroja.

 Yecla has some rather unique sights, such as the Church of La Purísima or the Plaza Mayor; others of great beauty, like the Church of El Salvador, the Marketplace and the Clock Tower.
This region offers a number of hiking, cycling and potholing alternatives. Take a bike along the track that leads to Monte Arabí (a mountain propitious for fables and legends) to see the Neolithic rock paintings that decorate the caves of the Canto de la Visera and Mediodía. A long-distance hiking trail which comes down from the North of Spain to the Levant, passes through the region.
Aside from these attractions, Yecla has a very intense economic activity, based mainly on the manufacture of furniture, which is the object of an important world-famous fair. Also of note are the local wines, which have their own Denominación de Origen and have won numerous awards in competitions both in Spain and abroad.
