A firewood storage area is located along the outer wall of the workshop. From the main patio, an anti-slip pathway takes you to the lower level where you have a vegetable garden and two unreformed caves with a patio. A staircase takes you up to an orchard of olive trees, grape vines and a large almond tree that produces masses of almonds. The patios provide gorgeous sunset vistas over the town of Huéscar and the 16th century cathedral lit up at night.

The front entrance of the main cave is through wood-frame French doors into the dining/living room built deep into the mountain. The four panels of glass doors make this stunning space into a peaceful light-filled oasis. This room has a formal dining area with built-in bar at the front, and at the back is a raised sitting area with arched shelves and wood stove. The floors are a distinctive Spanish tile. Along the right side of the living room you pass by an entrance closet then up a few steps into a hallway/laundry room, then you enter the beautifully appointed, tiled kitchen, with lots of countertop and cabinet space. A front doorway leads outside to the middle patio area. To one side of the kitchen is a bathroom with glass block feature, glass and tile shower, and a window (with cat flap). Through the kitchen is a lounge with wood stove. The kitchen and lounge floors are covered with terra cotta tiles. To the left of the lounge is a double bedroom with traditional cave walls hand carved into the rock, including storage closets. Through the lounge is a hallway with storage spaces and a small bedroom with storage and a desk. Both bedrooms are laid with wood-effect tiles.

The cave apartment has its own outdoor sitting area at the far end of the patio. You enter the charming living room through a traditional Andalusian wood door. There is a wood stove and a compact full kitchen. A short hallway leads to the double bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom features glass blocks and glass and tile shower. The hall is lined with tiled shelves that continue into the bedroom. The bedroom ceiling is hand carved in a creative swirling pattern.
Throughout the two caves are convenient cupboards, wardrobes and shelving thoughtfully carved into the cave walls. The property has mains water, electricity and internet. It is ready to move in.

This property is located in a cave neighborhood on the outskirts of Huéscar, a traditional Andalusian town on the Altiplano de Granada. The cave neighbourhoods are a mix of renovated cave houses and traditional caves, some of which were originally built by the Moors.
