Los Nietos is a traditional small village right on the shores of the Mar Menor , with its calm warm waters and sandy beaches ideal for family bathing. It has become popular with Spanish and English with its laid back appeal and close easy connections to local markets, the airports and the beautiful city of Cartagena. In the village is a chemist, medical centre, primary school, several bars and restaurants, supermarket and various shops. The promenade runs the whole length of the village and gives vehicular and pedestrian access to the Marina with its own restaurant. Occasional special events in the square. Los Nietos is also a fantastic base with its quick connection to the motorway and key routes.
